Grand Opening of the New Poulsbo City Hall

Poulsbo’s new city hall opens for business today, with a grand opening ceremony scheduled for 5 pm on Wednesday, November 17th. According to the article in the Kitsap Business Journal:

After many years of planning and two years of construction, the new 30,000 square foot building will be open for business on Nov. 15. The building includes underground public parking spaces which will be open to the public 7 days a week, as well several green roofs and energy efficient features. The New City Hall will house Administrative Services for the Mayor’s Office, City Clerk and Finance Departments, Planning and Building Department, Engineering, Public Works and Municipal Court.

The Grand Opening Ceremony will begin at 5 p.m., with a tribal blessing of the building by the Suquamish Tribe, and presentation of the dedication plaque and time capsule. Ceremony speakers include Mayor Erickson, Councilmember Rudolph, Commissioner Bauer, Mayor Quade, and Mayor Bruce. The building will be open to the public for tours on Nov. 18 and 19, during normal business hours.

The citizens of Poulsbo are welcome and encouraged to attend.
